It’s been a while since I blogged, wow since last year. I have been busy though, it’s not as if I have not been doing anything I have been focusing on my fitness lately. I’m fascinated with how strong I have gotten and I’m not even 100% fit yet.
But that doesn’t mean I have lost my love for makeup.
My love for makeup comes from when I was just a little girl. I always wanted to be a grown up, I was always much more mature for my age. It first began when I was about four years old; I started playing dress up with my mom’s shoes and accessories. My mother had tons of jewelry and shoes, but every time I got caught playing dress-up with her expensive shoes and accessories I got a smack over the head. One day I found my mom’s nail polish and I painted my nails on my own and my mom didn’t smack me over the head so on another day I decided to go for the makeup because I got away with using the nail polish and the makeup was in the same drawer so, guess what? I did it I played with my mother’s makeup and she didn’t get mad when I played with her makeup. So when I was really young I started playing with makeup big time. When I was as young as ten I was wearing eyeliner, lip gloss, mascara, blush and my nails were always painted. I loved painting my nails. I was always known for long pretty nails.
Back in the day in Chicago my mother use to help the neighborhood Avon lady sell Avon on our block and one day my mother wasn’t feeling good so she asked me if I could go pick up the money and the orders to turn them into the Avon lady. I said yes of course I would do anything to get out the house. After my first time of doing that errand for my mom I took up the job of doing it all the time. I was 11. I was the makeup expert on my block. I sold so much beauty products that the Avon lady said I was her best sales person. I didn’t even know I was selling. It was so easy. Every time I ordered my own beauty products for myself the Avon lady would give them to me for free for bringing in so many orders. It was the best thing ever. I had tons of makeup and beauty products. I had every single color of nail polish, every shade of blush. I had all the mascaras. I had purple mascara, oh how I miss the purple mascara. I had every color lipstick in every formula I had everything. I had more makeup and beauty products than any adult woman and I was not even 12 years old yet.
Now that I’m all grown up I still have my makeup and beauty product obsession. But now I’m in love with Motives and all its sister brands because now I know about quality and Motives is truly superior quality. I love to come home after a brutal workout and shower with my Royal Spa® Imperial Blend Bath & Shower Gel. I love this body wash it leaves my skin so soft & smooth. I need to have soft smooth skin after a tough workout.
I wash my hair with my Fixx™ Thick Hair Shampoo & Conditioner
this shampoo has made my hair so long like back to when I was a young preteen everyone is shocked to see how long and strong my hair is. I cant even start talking about what the Fixx™ Argan Oil Intensive Hair Mask does after my shampoo but dang this is good.
I cleanse my face with my Cellular Laboratories® De-Aging Facial Cleanser; this cleanser goes such a long way just with a little pump it cleans so well. I dry off then spray my face with my Skintelligence® pH Skin Normalizer I let air dry and while I’m waiting I fixx my hair some more with my Fixx™ Argan Oil No Frizz. This Fixx is so addicting.
I wait to blow-dry I instead prep my face with Lumière de Vie® Serum Concentrate. This serum is so good that when I put it on I walk away to let dry then I do something else and when I get back to my skincare regimen I don’t remember if I put my moisturizer on because it leaves my skin so silky smooth you think you already moisturized.
But wait I also can’t live without my Pentaxyl® because it works wonders too. As a matter of fact I have to reorder I’m out I have been squeezing the crap out the empty tube!
Finally I start doing my makeup with all my favorite Motives products. I don’t do smokey eyes or anything fancy anymore I outgrew all that fancy crazy makeup by the time I was 15. My most fancy is wearing my favorite violet eyeliner from the Motives for Lala collection. I love purple and purple brings out green and hazel eyes so I smack on that purple like if I get it at wholesale which I do.
Next product I’m obsessed over is Motives® Invisi-Line because now that I’m all grown up you can see those little lines around the eyes that are a little annoying so with Motives® Invisi-Line
I can make them look like if they are not there.
Next is the mascara. I know I have said this before but I love mascara. OH EM GEE I am mascara whore so I really wear mascara. I don’t care if I’m just going to hang out at home. I just got the new Motives® Fiber Lush Mascara and again OH EM GEE it’s freaken awesome. I think I need to reorder another one because I have been really using it even if I don’t go anywhere I have to wear my new Motives® Fiber Lush Mascara.
My hubby gets home and sees me with my Motives® Fiber Lush Mascara on and says “wow where did you go today”? & I’m like “nowhere”
My face is not finished until I put on the best foundation on the market. My motives custom blend foundation
that is my perfect shade with all the skin loving ingredients that make me look absolutely fabulous!
My love for makeup goes real deep and the fact that I get all my quality makeup and beauty products at wholesale pricing and I can sell them to make money only contributes to why my obsessive love for makeup is so deep. It’s a no brainer for me to love makeup and my business.
Later I’m going to tell you why I love wellness and working out so much.
